Adults with anxiety, I can relate and provide a space for you to share your worries and thoughts.

Perfectionists (see the quote above), you’ve got this!

How Individual Counseling Works

Free Consultation

During this 15-minute consultation, we will take some time to get to know each other. We will discuss what your goals are for counseling and determine if it’s a good fit.

Initial Assessment

The initial assessment is a 60-minute session where we will discuss information from your intake, establish clinical expectations, and continue to get to know one another.

Collaborative Work

Together, we will create goals for what you hope to gain from counseling. The therapeutic process is collaborative and we will work together as a team.

Ongoing Sessions

We will meet weekly or bi-weekly. During these 53+ minute sessions, you can expect there will be some discomfort, ups and downs, but also growth, learning, and positive progress.

It is Normal to have Questions!

  • This is completely up to you! I offer in-person sessions at my office located in downtown Edmonds or via Telehealth.

The Telehealth platform is HIPAA-compliant and a convenient way to meet in the comfort of your own space.

  • I offer therapy for individuals experiencing: anxiety, stress, life transitions, grief, parenting challenges, and relationship issues.

  • I am considered “out-of-network” and do not accept insurance. This means it is your responsibility to cover the cost of the session at the session time.

I can provide an invoice, also known as a superbill for you to submit to your insurance.

  • What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?

Do I need pre-authorization for services?

What percentage of services do you reimburse once my deductible has been met?

  • This varies. We will reevaluate your goals for counseling throughout the process. Some individuals seek out counseling for a brief amount of time. Others stay in counseling for months, years, and sometimes for life!
